                               Our history


Cueros Exóticos Valencia, SLNE has its roots in the twenties of the last century when D. Manuel Velasco created the first tannery of the family in the city of Valencia, thus beginning a process that persists until today, at that time the production was of skins of bovine chrome tanning and this was maintained until the Spanish Civil War in which, during the conflict, the factory disappeared.









During the 40s, and already with José Velasco, father, the manufacture of sheep and goat skins began, mainly for leather goods and footwear.

It is from the 70s that the Velasco family begins the manufacture of exotic skins, mainly African skins.

Cueros Exóticos Valencia, SLNE is, therefore, the experience of a family business from 1921 to the present day.

During all this time we have experienced all the technological advances in our industrial sector, evolving with it towards cleaner, more ecological and therefore more environmentally friendly manufacturing systems.

In our manufacturing we add the experience of tradition, innovation in processes and the fashion component.

The crystalline effects of the polished shinny finishes, the elegant matt and polish ones, the classic florantique or pull-up, together with the continuous development of fantasies and effects, make up the whole of   our articles.

Twice a year, in each season, we present our proposals for colors, textures and effects through the edition of color cards, as well as through regular participation in the Lineapelle fair in Milano-Rho.
